I know we have a couple audio related (headphone rig/speaker rig) threads to share photos, but I was curious about your offices/battlestations specifically. I am moving to a new apartment and am planning out my new home office and am looking for inspiration. So far, my GF has shut down my desire for a Mass Effect themed office (found some awesome rubber tiles that looks like spaceship cargo bay flooring), so I am not going full on themed. Played around with the idea of more elegant future-spacey-apple store with wall panels and embedded lights, but reminded myself that I really don't have the time or inclination to do that level of custom work. So! Please show off your work spaces, including pics of especially cool organization or wiring tricks.

My only cable management trick is to get a couple Ikea Signums and mount them under the desk.

To follow up, here's the underside: Furman PST-8D and 2 Ikea Signums mounted on bottom of Ikea Gerton desk.

Mine is a mess as I'm still getting moved in to a new apartment, but I didn't want to miss the chance to post back to back cintiq pics with @DanHowardArt .

The Amp is just up here in Glendale if you want to try it out. And for the Cintiq it's got that special stand on it.

Nice setups guys. As a graphic designer myself I've always wanted a cintiq.

Finally got a new monitor so spent some time cleaning up my desk enough for a quick pic. Though this desk setup is likely to stay roughly the same, I will be moving it to a different apartment in a few months so cable management isn't complete. Going from dual 24" monitors to a single ultrawide allows me to listen to my speakers more easily - I had to move my monitors before because they blocked the speakers. At any rate, I am pretty pleased now.

Just added a Samsung soundbar due to space limitation, this is my i7 3960X + Asus Rampage IV Extreme + 2x Gigabyte RX VEGA64 gaming system. The monitor is a Samsung 3840x1080 32:9 monitor that's great for slower FPS (like Doom, BFV, Tital Fall 2, Strange Brigade, etc) and is a dream for racing games that properly support that resolution. Yes, wires below the table is a mess, my excuse is that I'm in the midst of a lazy rut.

Recently added a Yeticaster to reduce noise and get the mic closer to my face, and turned off WiFi and Bluetooth. Working remotely is one of the best choices I've made this century!

New 55 inch table after the old one start to break. Two Thinkpad setups (one personal and one for work), PS4 is on the table hooking up to monitor + HDMI > SPDIF Toslink output to Airist R-2R DAC for gaming audio (great for rhythm games). Airist being fed to Mangi 3+, and I dunno what else is on this table since there's a lot of shit.

Also doesn't help is how bad under the table looks....

I'm really going to need assistance on how to make this look better. Also so much junk on my table so hopefully I can find ways to improve the layout.....

look at my second post in this thread. Grab yourself an Ikea Signum and screw it to the underside of the desk towards the back.

Did some review on this one, Ikea recommend that the smallest table base to use is 1 in / 25 mm. However, my base is half a inch / 12.7 mm, so it's too small for that.

I've solved the cable-management problem by mounting (with heavy-duty Velcro) two 48-inch power strips to the underside of my desk. Everything on and around the desk plugs into those power strips, so only their two power cords are visible under the desk. One strip plugs into a UPS on the floor, the other plugs straight into the mains.

My desk is a Dordoni Worktop, which already has a shelf under the tabletop, so the individual device power cables are coiled and secured out of sight on that shelf. For your desk, you could coil the extra length of each cord and hold the coils flat against the underside of the desk in a long strip of Velcro, or dump them into a cable-management box on top of the desk or whatever.

That is a very good idea @fastfwd. I was also thinking about getting the cable tubes and use them to reduce the amount of cables floating around the area.

Holy crap that's a lot of Cintiqs per capita. I thought I was the only one who used them.

I've been using them for years, here's the messy home office and equally messy office office. 32 at office, 24 at home. They're great for 3D CAD and PCB layout as well as graphic design.

@schiit If that's "messy," then my office is the garbage compactor from A New Hope.

My setup in the new house. Upgraded from Ikea legs to dual motor sit/stand legs.
