    Yeah, it was mastered from the analog tapes, but they seem to imply that they then recorded it to digital and pretended like they are the same. It's hard to know these days.

    Well I doubt the vinyl will sound much better than the existing Parlophone pressings, I just want a good clean digital copy to replace my needledrop.

  If I took the MFSL Gold U2 - Joshua tree, play it through my EAR DACCute and put it onto vinyl it'd sound better than any Joshua Tree vinyl

    The best I ever heard the album was on the Pono player with the Oppo PM-3. It smoothed out all the harsh edges. The perils of getting more neutral and resolving gear.

    It's not a fast show, it's more of a visual, thoughtful show. Check out a later episode like "Jack's Shoes" or maybe "Three Blind Archers" to get a feel.

  How did you mod your HE-6? Specifically what did you do for a warmer sound? Did you mod for more sub-bass? Do you know of any mods to increase sub-bass? (mine un-modded is fantastic with sub-bass out of my speaker amp, just wondering if mods can increase as I boost + 18db)

    I finally mounted my Zu DL-103 last week and it's and bright and slightly harsh, but geting better and better. Probably going to send my worn Paradox DL-103 for a saphire canitlever and micro-ridge stylus in the near future.
