@Sqveak dual-entry not necessary because the connector is 4-pole at both earpieces, so a balanced cable can be used to either.

New drivers will be interesting. Lower impedance than the current ones, but not stupid low. Higher quoted sensitivity than the current ones too.

Damn, never knew how JB Lansing's life was so tragic. We're left with a pretty impressive legacy and some fine gear I'd say, but sucks all the same.

That blur is not spotty enough. Hexagonal and octagonal blur have their charms. Otherwise, creamy smooth bokeh...

Zomg, he also loves the HD580 Jubilee. I really regret selling those cans years ago. I wish I could hear them on my ZDS.

Kinda funny that he likes DT831 cuz it has—wait for it—a 5.5k spike, according to the only FR charts I can find.

Way too short. I did like the HD650 and HD580 being mentioned as headphones that he listens to. (Since it is a HD580 Jubilee that is like giving a nod to HD600, as well.)
