Its been several years but when at a Bangkok mall with travelling companions, I opted to let our driver pick my lunch spot while my buddies wanted pizza. I had some awesome shrimp curry with rice and drink , and bought the same for our driver. I think I spent about $3.50 USD for both. Moron buddies paid several times that for crap pizza. Who the hell orders pizza while in Thailand? Stupid Mericans.

Meh, nothing new, just API repeating its standard promo & wishlist. As usual he neglects to mention the big reason why moving away from hydrocarbons is so slow: how much *governments* make from production royalties, taxes, and in many places direct production share (forget taxes on sales at the pump and indirect profits).

Also was very pleasantly surprised with Selena Gomez’ performance also in a starring role. She killed it.

@Raimei Templar I don’t use a headset if I’m in my home office alone and I mute when not talking. I think that’s fine and I have no problem hearing or being heard. It’s just the obliviousness to noise around you and whatnot that is infuriating. Crazy thing is I am in adult education and these ladies were fellow educators who teach remote classes themselves.

The crazy thing is that the boxes were in much better shape after a few months on a ship and then UPS ground than the one box that was shipped air express via DHL. No rips or holes and even my Audioengine nearfield speakers that have no grills and weren’t all that protected had zero damage or denting to the drivers/cones.

Just saw Wilson’s post after I posted this. Made me laugh.

I do know the ins and outs of researching and buying a car. I also buy used cars but lately it seems hard to find any decent ones that I’m interested in from individual sellers so at the moment I’m looking at dealerships.

Worked for a car dealership for two weeks. Far and away the worst job I ever had.

I worked for a company that provided turnkey computer systems for them and we had to know everything about the process inside and out. We occasionally had salesmen calling and wanting us to change the forms so that they could more easily rip people off.
