I never understood why they don't. Usually you're overpaying for vinyl especially if it's of good pressing quality. A lot of today's vinyl is just the hi res mastering anyway. So why give people an mp3 download, that should come with a CD not vinyl. The vinyl should come with hi res download files.

People buying the vinyl obviously already have a deck. If they also have a proper /audio interface,/ not one of these new-fangled DACS-with-no-ADC (O without I) then the thing is to make their own.

Really, young people these days! This is like having expected to get a free cassette with your LP, back in the day.

Seriously... I really would say that ripping is an essential part of the vinyl experience.

This is why I stream a lot for new releases, but anything that I really like I try to find on Bandcamp or at the record store and buy it to have in my collection. Traditionally I would also see bands live, but that's been tough the last 18 months or so.

Something was WAY off with my stat email; like it forgot to add streaming from Roon into the number. But, yeah, it's all about the data...

what speakers and amp are you using? I find they respond best to high efficiency speakers and low powered amps. it's just good old fashioned tinned copper, good tone character.

I’m running Spatial M3 Sapphires and Aegir mono blocks so relatively high efficiency, 92dB. I was looking for decently priced and quality and this works perfect.

I think it's a step in right direction as any playback issue creates a support ticket for Roon tech team so its high time manufacturer gets hardware certified before selling it as Roon Ready.

Having just recently gotten Roon to use with my minidsp shd hearing the news about this sucked. It is uncertified but the devs responded to a thread on their forums that work is well under way for final certification.

Just be aware that Hemp loses Grado tone a lot -- you need to like something smoother and darker than hd600. Not very sure if it can still sing for rocks and metals as much as grado fans expect.

I've read the Hemp thread multiple times and while the FR plot doesn't say everything, it looks good to me. I'm looking forward to these. With the reviews on the 3F, I'm guessing they will pair well with the T4.

I think so. As usual, if this direction is your ally, these headphones are fantastically capable. I dare to think it's kinda Poor guys' Raal SR1a as they shares a lot of benefits in common. Will elaborate and post my impression sooner or later.

When Mike Shinoda get serious about music there must be something special about it. He is quite a humble musician but the sound he crafted with Linkin Park, those first albums, damn that was next level.

Glad this is an option for that rare YMO "family" ;) Qobuz is painfully Dad-Fi tho... and I know I couldn't convince any of my family to use it vs Spotify, which sounds gud-enuff and more importantly is cornering the market in audio content.

This is cool if you can convince your family to join in. My mom is still surprised I pay for music at all. My dad has only listened to the same 10 CD's for as long as I can remember. My brother is a free Spotify Philistine.
