Is that for the MOV Dirt ? That was just reissued. I had heard they were going for big money but the new reissue might fix that. Have Dirt and jar of flies/sap from MOV I thought were great.

I started my Christmas shopping. Got the wife's main gift. Bought something for youngest kid.

My wife and me never buy anything for each other for Christmas. Birthdays, yes, but not Christmas. It’s a good thing to just enjoy the holidays, watch the kids’ joy and generally have good family time instead of worrying about presents.

Some dude went semi-tough-guy, semi-road rage on my son and me. We were driving 50 in a 45, and he tailgated and gesticulated. Rugged!

When tailgaters are too annoying I go into defensive driving mode. I block every move just for the fun of it. At one point the drivers think you have eyes in your back. Two wheels and mirrors...

Passive aggressive braking: slow down, but gradually. When you stop, they are too close to simply overtake.

(Or else acknowledge the fact that you are safer with them in front than behind: live long, peaceful, and dent free.)

That's some nuttery right there. I'll spend that for multiple-record box sets, but not ever for a single record. For that price I'll just stream or play the $3 used CD...

Good, clean LPs on a decent system can be a more enjoyable listen than the same album on a good, clean CD via a good digital set-up. Duh.

But if it’s a group that started with a group name and then added the singer name in front, like The Supremes to Diana Ross and The Supremes, I keep it all under the band name. :)

Honestly, after reading Whitney's story, it broke my heart. So I'm very, very hopeful that an increased focus on long covid can turn into a legitimatization of ME/CFS with more data and real positive outcomes.
