Listening to orchestral works with Susvara is wtf awesome in several unique ways. Bass is one. It's really "beyond" hard-hitting. May 27, 2022 at 10:27 PM

I still miss Pro idsd with dsd re-conversion. Uniquely good to me in some areas with doing everything else right.

Sig version is exactly the same, just with some extra accessories. Ifi produced a comparison chart that did show differences but then on HF they confirmed the units were the same and the chart was incorrect. Someone can correct me if I got it wrong.

It's a hard balance between adding something to the public post (so it's not left hanging like that) vs saying more privately. Considering how the escalation continued the ban seemed inevitable. :(

TBH I am not a big fan of sbaf profile posts as a tool of discussion (letter count is killing me!). PM isn't ideal either (e.g., some topic might be worthy in public discussion but not in the original thread .. and starting new thread needs way more prep). Haha..

With all the heavy signal tweaks (3-domain eqs, xfeed, etc), Arya SE/Zen/2541 beautifully sings to the extent I deem them one local extrema.

@E_Schaaf Fair point. And I've never been able to real apple to apple comparison. But a series of bad memories discourage. Maybe I am more skillful now than before, but wasn't happy with anything I eqed. On non-eq front, all the mods I heard or owned could not pass sibilance and shoutiness tests.

@Philimon Tour will be interesting. I'll definitely join. As of now, however, I don't regard its comfort any higher than Eta Genesis. 6x0 headband is what I'd immediately avoid for now (hate pressure points on top). No matter how great they may sound.

I still think 800's ergonomics is way better than 6x0's. The former fairly comfortable while the latter unacceptable. Might be the only guy.

I agree with this to some extend. 6X0 eventually gets to a great comfort level with some stretching of the band. The 800 starts off very comfortable and disappears on your head faster.

6X0 clamp is strong and the pads are pretty stiff as well. So yes, very uncomfortable when new. Needs break-in. Cup articulation is good but maybe you need more?

I&O fries are only good when hot & terrible once they’ve cooled. SS burgers are good but heavier to the point where I want to purge myself if I eat too much of it. Don’t have that problem with I&O
