I've had my Final E5000 (similar design) for two years with no problems. They are not my daily drivers though

ZMF Atrium or Aeolus. The E5000 is my only wired IEM which I mainly use in bed or for travel.

Ah y'know what, looking through the manual I think the cleanbox actually only does the conversions but doesn't do dual output. The DTI will output both though since it's all tapped off the same transformer. It would be better to do that than use a y splitter because the splitter will ground the negative legs of XLR which you usually don't want to do.

I read that you can take a balanced hot, float the negative, and use the shield for ground on an unbalanced wiring to avoid using the negative of the balanced signal. Need to check the Rane guide for wiring.

it's *probably* fine, but there's a chance that having the uneven loading on the pos/neg legs may cause bad mojo which is why using a DI box is the safer route

Every toaster I've owned opened on the bottom to avoid the shaking thing.

That's odd. I don't want to over-recommend it, but I've never had any issues with their product.

I am considering the Apple. Worried that it might not have enough power to drive my budget Sony MH755, the LG does when I trick it into high power mode. I'll check out the Helm as well.

FWIW Apple dongle works well enough with headphones. Looked up measurements and the voicing of the Sony might not be flattering to the dongle though.

Apparently the Apple for USB C is volume deficient, as are the Google and Samsung? Probably looking for 90 or so mW @32 ohm.

I read something about Viagra possibly being a helpful thing for Covid due to increased blood flow in the lungs? They supposedly use it for other things also? Sounds kinda....hard to do studies on.
