Apparently even walking through a store is enough for sars v2- K3 variants to find you and infect. Weak flu like symptoms, not too bad. Jul 26, 2024 at 9:34 AM

Ending Qobuz trial, odd stutter when new a track begins & tons of CPU hogging on Windows. Too bad since, the mobile app is decent.

Qobuz is best with an UPnP Interface or Roon. Qobuz desktop apps IMO leave a lot to be desired.

I've had some stutter issues w/ Qobuz this week as well... wonder if it had anything to do with all the AWS hiccups. Otherwise, what YMO said - Qobuz is best experienced outside of the Qobuz' app.

Have to agree with others. Qobuz+Roon=digital music bliss. Either service without the other just doesn't feel complete. I just used the Qobuz windows app for the first time in forever this morning and it is better than it used to be, but I also had a couple hiccups.

As far as I know basically all the music streaming apps do. USB Audio Player Pro gets around it, but somehow whatever they do seems to allude everyone else. Really wish Roon would figure it out.

The model has been used for decades. Buy big space at set price, sell small bits at a price, make profit. Nothing complex. CV19 kills the economics when you cannot sell all (earlier multi year contracts at N size) and have too little revenue from tkts. And lots of marketing to make various sizes of this work.

True, I haven't tried any, but I can't see how one can do such a thing virtually. Not the trade-show side of it anyway. If we want to know about, say, speakers, we can visit the manufacturer sites, visit the review sites, the youtube pundits, the forums, etc etc. It's all done already. A show is about personal experience and contact, hands on: the virtual world is... virtual!
