The dishwasher has worked well over here.

Washing machine in a delicates bag so they don't catch on anything. Then hang the bag on a rack or line to dry them.

If faux leather, I just soak a rag in a heavily diluted dishwashing liquid solution and pat gently. Use a separate dry rag to pat dry.

If velour or similar, hand wash under a running tap with the suds from a laundry bar or more dishwashing liquid.

I use either a furutech diy cable (whatever their headphone wire was before they discontinued), and Forza noir mk2. Both copper, seems to be a good fit. With an older chain/JAR 600 I had enjoyed silver though, but I think that particular model was a bit darker due to original owner preferences expressed to Jupiter.

I had this problem at the start of the year. If it's still summer where you live they don't like being left in the sun. Put the headphones somewhere sunny but close to shelter for the ants to escape to. Make sure the cups are facing toward the sun. They will freak out for a bit then gradually leave.

Put the headphones in a bowl of water. That will get rid of the ants.

(Actually there are sensible versions of this advice. At one place I lived, used to keep the bed legs in saucers of water. No ants in the bed)

@purr1n lol you're confusing RAAL with Abyss. RAAL powers all their gear at meets with RME DACs for heaven sake. They do pay a lot of attention to head-fi but they've been very kind to my requests for loaners, and also very responsive about a recent amp I didn't even buy new, but bought used, They're taking a look at it for free. Hopefully I can get one of the CA headphones from them for a loaner!
