Heard RDAC, had Modi Multibit. I'd personally want RDAC paired with the THX AAA amp that Massdrop is carrying, but I couldn't steal the DAC from CT. His defense was flawless.

Will do a comparison tomorrow.

I always thought the Modi Multibit was a bit lacking in sub-bass extension. Maybe the Bifrost Multibit is better? Definitely can't complain for the price though. It shames plenty of $3k Sabre DACs :)

Sonion released an estat driver so we might be seeing interesting new designs in the coming months. Hopefully not at backbreaking price points though...

I didn't get more than a paragraph in. It seems to be yet another article telling us how the world is wrong about digital audio. Well, a lot of the world, as we know, is indeed wrong about digital audio, so good. But it's unreadable so... not so good.

The original T1 had all the useful stuff (Volume knob, 2x DSP / Tone Controls, REALLY crappy 3.5mm Stereo jack instead of proper L/R RCA inputs) ...on the back, without any Remote functionality.
Family used it but stored it, cause they wanted a direct (Remote) control (like a Soundbar) without needing a Receiver; kinda like what Raggy is missing.
Hoping for a Remote & proper Analog jacks rather than just built-in BT.

It’s for isine10 and isine20 and clearly targets the isine20. There were apparently tons of complaints by Audeze lovers that the target FR was too bright initially.

Have you tried the zx1c? I'm aware the camera on it isn't good, but I'm in the market for a compact phone also.

I've tried all of them. I used to work closely with all the OEMs and silicon vendors. Sony has the cleanest contributions to AOSP of any of the OEMs by far and they make the fewest dumbass choices (like purposefully using HALs that will deprecated in the next release). I also really enjoy their small phones. They just have shit cameras.

Annoyingly they still can't do Camera API2 after so long. Hopefully they'll fix it on the XZ2 series.

I remember those nautilus keycaps. They are freaking beautiful and I would have jumped on it if I didn't already drop money on audio gear.

Watching metalwork and machine videos, listening on HD800s. The crazy thing, though, is how they make me sit up and listen whenever there's music. Yes: even music via youtube. HD600s are damned nice, but they don't do that.

@bengo I remember something about it. It was about the time parents were voicing concerns about violence. What I do remember playing was the first DOS version of Wolfenstein. Took me an entire weekend to install and get it working. It got flack too.

Apart from the ZDT you're doing what a whole bunch of well-heeled gamers do with the HD800.

Btw, I'm told the Win10 "Windows Sonic for Headphones" software surroundofier thing is often competitive with solutions like the hardware codec the GSX has. Try it out maybe?
