I know some people will ask questions they sort of know the answer to just to make sure they know what they're doing, are on the right track, etc.

I've had many customers 'test' me by asking questions they already know the answer to. I feel like I'm a dancing monkey sometimes. Playing dumb frustrates the heck out of me, I left the entertainment industry behind for a reason. Sometimes its good natured, other times TROLLS

I get a pretty good sense when talking to customers how well versed they are. Sometimes it is indeed an older customer wanting someone to share their passion of audio with.

I do periodically get calls from people who are kinda amazed there is someone with the same amount of interest in the hobby.

@Melvillian Yeah I saw that video. I do think that the hype for this card is a little overblown. It really isn't double an RTX 2080. And it's still 800 dollars, which isn't pocket change.

The GamerNexus video was pretty good and I understand where they are coming from. Still disappointed I wasn't able to snag a 3080 at launch to upgrade my 1080ti but that's life. I got an order placed on Adorama for a card but it is backordered and I have no ETA.

Glad I didn't instantly dump my 1080ti earlier this month when I decided I was going to cop a 3080.

Aspiring chifi companies leave offerings at their Behringer statues every morning.

Its fine, was adjusting how my fridge door opened and forgot that I left a screw on the ground. Luckily it mostly got the side of the foot, little blood but didn't get stuck. Honestly forgot all about it till I was getting discomfort walking at work.

I would recommend trying it first if you can. I have sold quite a few for work and done many more demos in store. I would say most people, 3/4 have little to no issues with fit/comfort. And then the remaining say they have issues with long term comfort or it does not falls out of their ears.

For my ears in particular, right ear fits fine, left I have one spot that develops a pressure point with a lot of my IEMs.

A solid heavy block like the Audeze baffles probably will sound better than the cruddy resonant plastic rings of stock HE6. My solid wood HE6 rings helped a bit with transient incisiveness, but it won't do much for the FR.
