I listen between 75 and 85 dBSPL which is lower than many listeners. HP drivers are not moving as far which may account for my divergent opinion of HD800S and EQ. I use Sonarworks for HP correction. In my chain I drop level by 7 dB before allowing any EQ. For sub bass boost I insert +7 dB shelf at 15 Hz with Q=0.53 using EQuick.

@Thad E Ginathom It's possible but you need a power assisted chair and a much longer cable.
Ah yeah sonarworks is not an option for me(different sources besides pc), i tried it in the past and couldn't quite replicate what they do with other eq software.

Oh yeah, the kids and family have been passing it around and getting waves over the past 2 months. I was holding out as long as I could and then...hopefully only one long wave for me.

Wow! Many of you have had some pretty nasty crud! My symptoms are limited to periods of nose running like Niagara Falls, sinus congestion, less than zero energy, cognitive degradation and sleeping a lot.

@roshambo123 pardon my ignorance, but in this context what does WCF mean?

White Cathode Follower

While all three amps are cathode follower designs, I don't believe they qualify as WCF types. These amps have plate of driver connected to grid of output tube and both tubes have cathode connected to ground via a resistor. No driver cathode to output tube plate connection.

Can't drink it at all. So sad: I love the smell, love the flavour.

I, too, cut out most caffeine at the suggestion of my cardiologist. still can't shake my morning cappuccino, but quicker extraction means less caffeine.

May you have good music to keep you company during exercise. Monotonous routines are heavier on the mind than they are on the body IMO

Music is great to set a workout pace for indoor steps. Outside I prefer the sounds of nature. O2 is to combat an issue I have developed called exercise induced desaturation.

Statins are shit. My med record says I am allergic to statins (yes thanks to those side effects, stopped after 4 -6 wks and two types ), Drs no longer say hey you need to be on statins. And no $$$ for big pharma and just a slight bit above the level they set to get everyone on them.

When you actually take a deep dive into the science, lower cholesterol from statin use has a lower all cause morbidity stat of something approximating 12 days. IIRC

Each to their own, but I don't think that DSoTM is going to figure for me even once this century.
