Turns out iOS silently disabled AdBlock Plus after a recent update…

I recently installed Firefox Focus on my iPhone. In the settings for it you can actually enable an ad blocker for Safari as well. Seems to have worked like a charm for killing those obnoxious ads.

The only small downside is a bit uneven treble and V-shaped signature. Easy to overlook, though, when the mids are nicely even!

We might see more “galvanically” isolated USB DACs soon?

Interesting. Some kind of optoisolation, perhaps. I'd bet Mike and his team will be comparing this to the transformer approach at some point

It has been awhile since I gave the Clear a good listen. I need to have them both on the same system to assess properly. Good experiment for the weekend.

I just picked up a Stellia locally yesterday and via the 3F it is definitely not bass tilted. Presence is there but doesn't bleed into rest of the spectrum. Maybe the 3F controls it. I also apparently have a small head as I use both the Stellia and Utopia on the smallest setting. I haven't tried it on a different amp. Have you received your 3F?

I think small heads work better coz the pads don’t get as squished. Pressing on the cups definitely increase the bass and it becomes boomy.

They should at least come up with something new to do in terms of transducers aside from shape them a different way, make them thinner, or change the magnet configuration. All of their profits seem like pure profit - I feel like very little R&D is being done at HFM.
