Yeah a few of these aren't bad esp. when other best-seller lists are considered: couple of AT models, Rega, Fluance... But all these kids buying expensive vinyl for "better audio quality" and playing it on some of these all-in-one systems instead of buying digital and using decent IEMs vs the speakers built into their phones...

It's a lifestyle product. With bragging rights.

Well, OK, it *is* a lifestyle product even among those who truly listen to music. Couldn't get much more physically different to the now-norm digital without getting the band to come to the house. Or joining it.

"Differently abled" is big here in India. As a person with, ahem, hearing impairment, I detest it. Doesn't make any of my other senses more abled, and the only thing that helps is...

@Azimuth you tell me "acoustic ceiling" and I'm thinking drop ceiling/tiles with actual STC rating and absorption coefficients. You tell me popcorn ceiling and I'm thinking drywall with chunky stucco/plaster/gold glitter sprayed on it. Or maybe they spray on something soft and squishy in your neck of the woods?

100% hate the fact that it's impossible to simply buy normal looking, good keycaps on demand. Instead you have to wait 18 months and get a set that would be normal except the ESC key is purple and the function keys are replaced by anime flowers.

Yep, there are (or were - there was a cull) coyotes in Stanley Park that started chasing and biting people after becoming used to being fed. But the sealion bit was more about recent posts in a certain thread.

It helps gain favour with the average person, who will throw out all conspiracy due to the "Junk Conspiracy" and it also helps suck in sometimes up to half the conspiracy field, sowing disinformation and discord amongst those who are interested.
