Harsh Words From a Friend: You need to stop being butt hurt when things don't go your way related to a disagreement. Some of your comments in that thread did came across as being too passive aggressive bitchy fest. It's a shame, since you made some valid points.

As we say in the business world: It's not what you said, but how you say it.

@YMO If I feel I am not being respected, then I am not. You may sit there and call it "butthurt", but sometimes I wonder if people here also treat their real friends or their co-workers the same way. I'm sure HR might have something to say. Harsh words from a friend: don't tell me how to act or react.

And don't come on here to complain about your problems publicly and tell others don't respond back to you publicly. Ultra bitchy. Best way to resolve issues is privately without throwing your grievance in public. That's the old school/adult way of doing things at times.

Others can contest, but people who had problems with me privately PM and we resolve our issues like gentlemen.

Though later in that thread (read a few pages from the end, haven’t read everything in between), that stuff about how impulse response can be mathematically transformed into FR and back for a minimum phase system—that’s fascinating and points in the direction that they might actually have a point. I hope I have the time to once really wrap my head around all this and understand it.

Single cable connectivity, really low impedance, and a look that's a bit of a riff off Apple but still Focal. Definitely feels like a mobile lifestyle market play, but I think they are way too late to the party here to make a dent.

I have analogous experience with Forte I and BH S3X 2w. Let me guess doesn’t sound great? A little more power like 8w makes a big difference IME. PM me, I have some amps you can borrow if you want.

Ive heard LaScalas with 2A3 based monos, 2 or 3 dB more efficient than Forte IVs. Sound was smooth and sexy but still falls apart with a little volume. I'd say 8-10 watts minimum is where you can start to rock it a bit.

I use the Monoprice hospital grade cables and they are super sturdy. I am about to build some entry level audiophile cables to finally hear for myself if anything changes, but if you aren't into building Pangea has been mentioned as a good option for reasonable cables.
