Saw them at The Met in Philly last evening. Really good mix of their classics and 4 (?) tracks from the new album, 2 of which I think are as good as anything they've done

And the miracle - the sound was, mmmm, like music. The drums'n'bass didn't overwhelm; vocals, guitars and keyboard were pretty clean. I honestly don't think I've heard a rock concert sound this good for the last 15 years or so

The band was really on; play the song, move to the next. Tight. Very highly recommended if they are coming anywhere near you and you're into that kinda southern rock style.

When I have fucked up on decisions related to SBAF throughout the years, and I have, no one stands up for me. Good to have friends.

Nobody is perfect man. We all make shitty decisions sometime. All you can do is own up to them sincerely and hope people can accept and move on. If not, there’s not much more you can do with hurt feelings other than to let them try to heal with time.

As I said some time back, if one jumps in the shit pool, only one thing happens. I appreciate those who feel they have no choice. There's a kind of honour there. And maybe I just got too old.

      ...

But it is still true: jump in that shit, and you *will* get covered in shit.

So, OK, do it. Join the fight. Get bruised and battered.

But there is no point in *complaining about getting covered in shit.* That was the basic, bottom-line, entrance-only, price of jumping in.

I have analogous experience with Forte I and BH S3X 2w. Let me guess doesn’t sound great? A little more power like 8w makes a big difference IME. PM me, I have some amps you can borrow if you want.

Ive heard LaScalas with 2A3 based monos, 2 or 3 dB more efficient than Forte IVs. Sound was smooth and sexy but still falls apart with a little volume. I'd say 8-10 watts minimum is where you can start to rock it a bit.

I use the Monoprice hospital grade cables and they are super sturdy. I am about to build some entry level audiophile cables to finally hear for myself if anything changes, but if you aren't into building Pangea has been mentioned as a good option for reasonable cables.
