I've recently moved over to Android for the first time. It's caught up in most ways, and doesn't prevent you using your phone the way you want to. Plus it is 4x cheaper to get a phone with a large screen. The Samsung Galaxy "A52s" is tremendous value. Even so I'd still recommend iPhone to anyone non technical, budget aside.

I think mostly Apple now has some of the features I liked about Android and the differences are much smaller than ever before. My work is Apple only for email, so that too was part of it.

Of all three loaners here: FD7, HA-FWX1, 3DT...if I had to keep one, it would be the FD7. I can't ship off the other two fast enough.

14.2mm driver in Timeless. 14.8mm driver in the S12, with more traditional IEM fit. Two prong plug though. Only two reviews on YT so far just posted in the last week.

Always have felt the same. Only recently looked into the history of some of my favourite music. One can wish one hadn't. Case: CSN. Sang some of my favourite songs. Better not to find out what they ended up thinking of each other.

I had read somewhere that it's tuned as a bloated bass "V" signature so I lost interest. I wonder if the driver is any good for modding purposes though (even though I don't mod)

"Subjective impressions are great, really. Without them, what's the point..." This only means I try not to listen to the gear rather listen to the music.

An audio enthusiast with a recording degree. I became an audiophile in college in studying recording to become a mastering engineer. Although I was an intern for Glenn Meadows and also was acquaintances with Ray Kennedy, the stars never quite aligned for me. However I never left pursuing high-end audio.

I grew up in a radio station as my dad was in radio. My first job was a board op at the talk station where I had to use analog reel to reels, carts, cassettes, and DAT's.

And yes, I like to tinker with gear. I am an audiophile on a budget. Working IT Instructional Designer only gets you so much income with two kids around. Have you seen how much day care costs these days? Anyways, there are I guess some gains to some gear that can be tweaked to improve the performance. This is no different than car types changing differentials or beefing up the suspension or engine. Some of us can't afford a BMW, but rather have to take a Civic and beef it up with aftermarket parts.

Tinkering also helps with repairing gear. I have restored some KEF C75 speakers, a Technics SP-10, built guitar tube amps, and even modde mics. I have also fixed, soldered, suped up, many other things from crossovers, to cap replacement, to op-amp replacement, etc. I fixed and rebuilt a non-working Dynalo as well as a Black Widow amp. I took electronics and studio maintenance in college, but I am still learning.
