Good show; don't know all their stuff but heard most of the stuff I know. Thanks to @k4rstar for mentioning these guys a couple years ago

And if you're thinking about a visit to Philly in general, I highly recommend Fishtown. There's loads of restaurants & bars, some of which also bring in lesser-known bands. Way less tourists than other, better-known areas like South Philly

These guys are as much performers as musicians, very energetic show. Songs played straight up, which is a big like for me.

And the sound was decent, but really loud. I was seeing 105 dB avg standing about 1/3 of the depth of the hall. Did use the toilet paper thing to tone it down.

Last saw them perform over a decade ago, but it was such a fun show... good reminder to revisit their catalog.

Saw them at The Met in Philly last evening. Really good mix of their classics and 4 (?) tracks from the new album, 2 of which I think are as good as anything they've done

And the miracle - the sound was, mmmm, like music. The drums'n'bass didn't overwhelm; vocals, guitars and keyboard were pretty clean. I honestly don't think I've heard a rock concert sound this good for the last 15 years or so

The band was really on; play the song, move to the next. Tight. Very highly recommended if they are coming anywhere near you and you're into that kinda southern rock style.

I’m kinda onboard with the window thing. I have some Fostex speakers that were in the sun and it baked the white paper cones to a brown color.

No mention of not pushing in the dust caps or tweeters? Reconing? Not hooking to severely underpowered or overpowered amps? Sheesh.

No mention of replacing all the internal wiring with silver? Or crossover components with"audiophile grade?" Annual polishing of the silver cables?

Think it was too much, made them boring. Never wanted to listen to music on that. Perhaps a lack of refinement. As @purr1n mentioned you want to work with the drivers not against them. Theoretical synergy is not the same as actual synergy until it’s verified. Theoretically it should’ve been great, those were my thoughts as well but no. And i did give it a good try.

I know I'm an outlier on this, but my go-to for running Clear has been MJ1. Sounds completely counterintuitive, but it's that high energy synergy that audibly kicks my ass when I need it.

Sad, yet a nano sliver of the speaker market. Surprised they held on this long.

My son is a LOTR geek. He told me the RoP series is an abomination of the original lore, He stated there are to many mistakes made in the series to tell me about. Obviously, he is not watching it. I'm taking his word for it and skipping it too.

Haven't bothered yet but i feel the same about House of the dragon. Started rewatching some old favorites.

A damn shame, considering the colossal budget. Rewatched the extended edition trilogy for the 5th time just prior, and I agree with the negative show impressions so far. Will likely continue watching to see where the plot leads.
