I've flipped between FF and Chrome over the years. Both have been total resource hogs on & off, but lately Chrome has been causing various issue for me so it's off to FF I go (again!).

It's a shame Emerson, Lake and Palmer didn't make more albums. They really were amazing with all their talents combined.

Hard to pick a favorite, some of them are pretty different. But I was listening to brain salad surgery when I posted this.

Everytime I look at pics of LA, I swear it's just Jax but more urban sprawl, strip mall central, and terrible traffic. I'm wrong?
    1. Cspirou
Not wrong. LA feels a lot like Houston to me. Although urban sprawl isn't as bad here

This Astell & Kern SR15 is a wonderful pairing with the PP8. Not sure if it's just the higher OI, but the upper mids are more relaxed...

Haha still my wife, had to cut the Stratus loose. My favorite amp yet, just couldn't justify the cost for the one time every week or two that I fired it up. Gotta keep priorities straight. Maybe we'll be reunited again someday.

Try the Halide app for IOS. I find that it takes better photos than the stock app and it shoots in RAW. RAW allows you to do post-shoot processing.

The Halide app also has a histogram so you can adjust apperature/exposure before snapping the pic.

Sad to read how great the ECP DSHA3F is with the Auteur...any SS amp significantly better than Lyr 3 in the $1.5K range? Future planning...

Not that I'm unhappy with Lyr 3, but want to know which SS amp (no tube rolling) would be considered by those more knowledgable to be an appreciable upgrade for the money and not side-grade for can like Auteur. BW mentioned, any others?

BW has a bit better slam and more pleasing/organic tone. And has solid synergies with zmf dynamics (eikon, atti, aeo, atr). But still think lyr 3 is a tad more transparent -- resolving more accurate volume gradations and micro-details in less biased ways. So maybe not a clear upgrade.
