Still loving my Gen-G. Insane performance-weight ratio. Now really unsure if I want to buy anything heavier than GG.. Sep 18, 2021 at 8:58 PM

May need a serious closed back pair for the post Covid. Esx900 seems a nice heads-up starting point.

It is a great attitude to take, ironic given that the J2 spanks a good chunk of the measurements r all that matters crowds dacs measurement wise :). Even managed to get rid of the ess hump that took the dacs being pushed by them so long to overcome.

Running the dac in current mode is interesting as well, I wonder what difference that makes.

The flow quite makes sense to me too. Ethan (survival horror) -> Chris (souped up doom3 with DS3) -> Joe (hella fun puncher). I didn't like how Amnesia or Outlast ended, but RE7 as a whole was truly an engaging experience.

I just hope you appreciate the danger in handling these things together. I hear they're like super magnets... get them too close, and there's a 6-9khz shock-wave right before they shoot into each other and explode in an opaque blot of flechettes. Might as well be dropping the top on a nuclear reactor!

I think I mainly used the stock ones. I got another pair of tubes from the owner, but just heard a couple of times before returning the unit. I generally stick to stock tubes for loaners as I believe they were chosen to sound in a specific way designer/developer/builder intended.

The scariest one too....Jesus, the first part of the game is quite scary. I hate enemies who can't die.

100% agreed. The game beautifully blended huge stress from the horror in the first half (or 1/3) whereas the second half focusing on scenario and some action.

And yes, I was kinda avoiding RE7 because it just looked too scary (lol). But RE8 looks too cool to give a pass.

You did the right thing lol. Gotta play RE7 before RE8. Hope you played Chris' scenario. That's scary too. Maybe even harder than the main scenario.

Would be great to play together if RE8 has some kind of online multiplayer.

        Apr 24, 2021
      4. Vtory
        Vtory
Likely 4-wire. In the VE homepage (not Ali), we can customize and specify geometry to some extent (4 wire, 8 wire, 2 wires per sleeve). Ali price equals to 4-wire chosen via VE webpage.

For 4ft, seems 8-wire adds +$20 and 2 wires per sleeve adds +$40 on top of 4-wire price.

@Vtory Agreed. Synergy > nervosa. I'm just frustrated with the upward trend in pricing. It's beyond uncomfortable and I can't afford to try new things while remaining financially responsible. At least not in this price bracket. Coveted things excepted because those are saved for rather than bought on a whim.

The most shocking part of the show was they eliminated non-MQA option by streaming unfolded mqa as if it's non-MQA.

No wonder whenever I compared 2496 mqa vs 1644 non-mqa (indeed unfolded mqa) I failed to prove myself mqa inferior.

That's was one of the central selling points to the lables/streamers, MQA is "just PCM" (and it is after LSB) and is "back wards compatable". The average consumer would and still does not know...
