add aged truffle cheese for world collapses?

I've never had real truffles, and I'm skeptical of anything I've had with truffle oil is actually truffles as it always tastes chemical-y to me.

Stampedes are no joke. I lost my cousin in the 2015 pilgrimage stampede, over 2000 people died. The bodies were so crushed that my uncle couldn't identify his son.
When I pilgrimage in 2012 I was floating with the crowd when I did the circling around the Kaaba, I had no control of my body what so ever.
I now fear crowds more than actual fire disasters.

How does it work in real life? This form of chat, I suppose, is asynchronous, but face-to-face is synchronous.

I like both.

There are pros and cons to each, mostly in that async affords you the opportunity to gather thoughts and fact-check yourself before presenting whereas sync allows for real-time reads of and adjustments to tone and nuance. Both have pitfalls haha.

Oh, I should've clarified it's all about preference. For real life I do agree that both have pros and cons. I recommend others reaching out to me via emails rather than calls unless urgent tho (better records, less miscommunication, etc.).

The beauty of async is I can decide whether and when to respond more flexibly. With less pressure. For lower prioritized stuffs like hobby, that's huge.

We're releasing a wood cup t50 kit soon, like within the next month or so. I'm making a video guide on it shortly. Basically you get the wood cups and have to sand and finish them, if that's your thing instead of 3d printing. Made a whole new cup design for it so it doesn't look like the old ZMF stuff, uses 1/8 inputs.

My fav looking headphone atm, looks like a modernized, all black ortho Qualia 010. Weight is only 320 gr (!) and comes with 2 different earpads. Would love to hear it, super interesting headphone.

It is literally a 3D-scanned copy of the OG R10, so... yeah. Enjoying my pair quite a bit.

Oooh, I'd be interested in your impressions- I did hear a OG R10 so curious to see how this one is. (Not that I really liked the OG R10, but it sounded really, really interesting, in a good way)

@Tachikoma Unlike HFM (who simply copied the cup's outer appearance only), ES seems to replicate fairly well. A bit of 'modernness' added though.

@ext1 I'll report my thoughts to the thread later. Initial impression is very positive. Well balanced over the entire spectrum, lush mids, etc. In the meantime, I'd use them for my daily music rambling thread.

Pre 2020 depreciated due to cases of driver failure and it is fair for such product to loose value when the company charges a ton to repair it if out of warranty.

Am I naive to hope the new Utopia's 5k peak keeps enough people away so that we can see some end in sight to the mega-buck headphone niche that the 1st Utopia in many ways popularized?

And at this price point, no way am I buying the "my employees' kids gotta eat" or "bcuz r&d" rationale that smaller outfits might use to charge north of 1K for headphones.

@nishan99 Found on hf that impedance and sensitivity are 23 ohms about 87dB/mW, said by Mrspeakers. But yeah, could have mentioned it on the video or in their website, like every other manufacturer

After having an SE (2016) for 5.5 years, I bought the 13 Mini last year, mainly because I was very sure it would be discontinued. LED is nicer than LCD, but I miss the smaller overall size. Apple will probably use the leftover Mini parts for its next SE, but that will be their last smallish phone for a good while; so I might have to buy it.

The new one that is. It looks way prettier. The characters don't look "uglier" to me.

@zerodeefex Purely preferential on my end. I might have too strong primacy effect/bias based on earlier works. Indeed only a matter for the first few hours. I was more annoyed with gameplays in the end..

@daduy Yeah, the cup seems a popular way for semi-open or semi-closed backs. Wood seems a little gimmick tho. Haha.

@Qildail Right. The pads do angle drivers (plus, drivers are already angled in the housing). They're also designed to fit human head curvature well.
