My own opinion - it's good and worth trying, I want to buy one myself. Only thing holding me back is from what I understand, distribution supposedly keeps stock in Canada, but I haven't heard of any new orders being fulfilled for anyone in the last several months, at least in the US.

I hope I'm wrong though so I can jump on one.

Yeah I'd like to know either way so I can also get one when they show up if I like it. I'd rather not do another blind expensive tube purchase, they don't always pan out.

At work, we stopped shipping overseas, it barely made up any of our sales and the majority of our headaches.

Something to keep in mind about me, I'm not exactly practical when it comes to toys. When I got my Stratus, I loved it and thought, "well, I guess I need to get a Stellaris". Still, I'll do my best to explain the difference and how much of a gap exists between then. Haven't compared them yet, will hopefully get to that today.

Agreed. I've driven Toyotas (Camrys, Corollas, RAV4s) for the past 40 years, The factory sound systems all sucked.

With environmental conditions here, I'm glad I ended up putting a midtier gaming PC together instead of a budget vinyl rig since it's offered more in the way of enjoyment overall and isn't quite as persnickety.

Not having the option to disable autoplay seems like a remarkable oversight though

It truly is a joy. I remember the first time my wife listened to ZMF headphone at Axpona. She had the biggest smile of amazement.

Years ago we had a Seattle Can Meet at Frye Museum. Two of us had EC ZDSE + HD800 rigs. It was great to observe reactions from museum visitors hearing our rigs. Many would go find their spouses to come and experience a similar auditory revelation.

IIRC when it was introduced the guidance was to let relevant staff know if you make a donation of $20 or more, and you'll get a tag. But if you're already a friend no need to bother, unless you really want to.

So most of those with both will have been contributors before being made friends.

I always laugh when people in movies/TV talk about the amazing sound of vinyl and then put a record onto one of those POS Fischer Price all in one record player and speakers units and that's supposed to convey the benefits of vinyl haha. It's amazingly common.

I notice more often than audio, how characters in movies/TV who are supposed to be professional photographers or filmmakers even just hold a camera like they've never touched one before. Or have no idea about the basics. Its' especially strange with film gear, since the makers of the program should know this stuff...you'd think...
