To be clear, I'm not saying they're shit. I was just commenting on th speed, which is extremely noticeable. I still cant listen to this vanilla 800 without EQ, and even then it still has major issues (not sure how different the early S/N versions sounded). The bass quality is astounding though.

@ColtMrFire 100% Valid. 800 is showing its age. Used to seem clear as a bell but against modern stuff it's congested. Comfort, headstage, and personal history is why we're still together. If I buy another hp, it will probably be a focal though. Atrium is bussin but my wallet halp

Although I prefer the ribeye, we used to enjoy these. The cheapest way I found is to buy a whole tenderloin in a vacuum pack at Costco, and cut steaks out of it.

Also keep in mind that vacuum-packed steaks need to vent for at least 12h to release built-up gases in the vacu-pack container. IIRC, we required 24h at Steak n' Ale. Also gives 'em a little more dry ageing. (Set up a drip pan in the fridge for them).

It's not chit chat. It's the the singer's cue leaking through his open back headphones. My guess is too much compression on the track made it more audible.

Watched a part of it last night but stopped halfway through since it was late and I had work in the morning. It makes me miss Breaking Bad, it just had so much going on. I forgot about a few characters since it had been years but El Camino brought them right back.
