  Fun fact, for a while during the early days of the pandemic I was an English tutor for some CN and JP folk, and received pronunciation was one of the courses on offer. I was already vaguely familiar with RP since one of my best friends going back had a weird hodgepodge accent and I often got stuck adopting it. The issue is that once I start my regular speech is coloured for a good rest of the day.

    Hrodulf was at Sonarworks at the time I believe, so yeah that that blue trace on white background FR for the Empyrean could have been made on Sonarworks's rig.

    It's a compensated Sonarworks curve. IIRC, Empyrian had a pretty strange tuning, some high-Q resonance up top which would drill your ears if excited.

We should not be ruling out the most-experienced, best-qualified candidates with age-limits or term-limits. We need to find other solutions—ranked-choice primaries would be a start.
